Artist Statement
Bound within the threads of my old school blazer, the junk journal captures my identity using printmaking techniques that branded my memories on every page together moments from each of my birthdays until seventeen, celebrated every 10/19. The tactile blazer cover, sleeves knotted securely, symbolizes the environment that cradled my growth.
