Artist Statement
In "Whispers of Affection," I delve into the intangible bonds that bind a family together, transforming cherished memories into a visual symphony. The acrylic pieces, flowing like waves, are a manifestation of the sound waves that carried those emotional "I love yous" and the warm dialogues spoken in the comforting rhythm of both Chinese and English. These waves, reminiscent of water, serve as a reflective surface for the dialogues imprinted on the foam boards.
